About Our Founder
Meet Kelly! Mom, licensed professional counselor, superhost and animal lover.

Born and raised in the heart of Western North Carolina, Kelly has called five different states home throughout her adult life. These experiences have deepened her appreciation for a variety of design aesthetics and regional styles, which now influence her thoughtful and distinctive approach to hospitality.
Coming from a long line of farmers and entrepreneurs, Kelly blends a strong work ethic with a natural eye for design. She transformed her first property into an instant rental success, earning Superhost status at the first opportunity in 2017—and maintaining it ever since.
Kelly is known for her guest-first mindset and meticulous attention to detail. In 2020, she designed a property from the ground up specifically for vacation rental, ensuring every decision—from layout to lighting—was made with the guest experience in mind.
With a proven track record of five-star stays, operational excellence, and creative business strategy, Kelly is now sharing her expertise through Southern Glow Hospitality—helping others create beautiful, successful short-term rentals with confidence and care.

What's in a name?
Southern Glow Hospitality was born from Kelly’s desire to blend the warmth of Southern charm with the elegance and radiance of well-designed spaces. The word “Glow” reflects the inviting, elevated feeling guests experience when they walk into a thoughtfully curated home—where every detail shines with care. Rooted in her Carolina heritage, the name honors both her Southern roots and her belief that hospitality is about creating spaces that feel as welcoming as they are beautiful.
It’s more than a business—it’s a personal standard: create with heart, host with intention, and help others shine.
